Good Morning!
As most of you know, my name is Stephanie and I am a lady of many talents and filled with many stories. To start, I am married to my high school sweetheart and we are currently spending our eighteenth year together. Together, we are figuring out how to raise our ten year old gifted student who is wickedly brilliant and extremely creative. As well as providing a nurturing environment for her and her six furry siblings (three pups and three guinea pigs). As you can imagine, our lives are loud and messy, but equally wonderful.
Other than being a mother and partner, I am an artist and maker. I am a professional watercolorist and specialize in children and pet portraits. My most recent endeavors include polymer clay and palette knife portraits. I am constantly creating and feel so fortunate to be able to support my family through these artistic avenues.
Before we lost everything and started our lives over in Las Vegas, Nevada, I was a retail manager for a major big box store and was responsible for multi-millions of dollars in sales and profit each year as well as coaching and developing a cohesive team in an extremely competitive department and field. Before retail I also taught high school mathematics at an alternative high school in a poverty stricken city and state. I dabbled in property management and even did my time working fast food. I have over 16 years of service industry and educational experience. This unique blend of expertise ultimately has lead to the success of Good Mornings by Stephanie. Thanks to many sleepless nights, determination, grit, and my people centered mindset I was able to quit my full time corporate management job. I now do Good Mornings by Stephanie solely and I’m able to fulfill my two missions in life: Do the most good and deliver joy around the world.
Currently I am working on the following: building this website and blog, integrating my shop. Maintaining daily operations of GMBS and social media growth. Dreaming up ways to expand our small business. Trying to work up the motivation and inspiration to finish illustrating the children’s book Olivia and I wrote together years ago. Make more time to work on my first novel. And lastly, enjoy life, one moment at a time.
This is a place where I will share intimate and deeply personal stories about our lives, our struggles, our joys, and our hopes. I hope you feel connected and less alone here. I hope you find joy here and I hope you feel inspired. I hope these stories make you laugh and cry, because I have certainly done a lot of both.
